Not known to me. S&W makes a gun with big gills (don't think this is one) that led to a rule permitting such FROM THE FACTORY.

I agree that it is hard to identify a gun from a fuzzy magazine picture, but IF it was a X-caliber, it is not legit. I looked it up. NFC at the World Championship? Wow.

thanks Bill, it certainly appears to be the X-calibur. I see that several SSP shooters got DNF, I wonder if this was one of them. Failed equipment check perhaps? Per the website description it does...

That is the X-Trim model, not the X-Calibur. It does not have the heavy (bull) barrel and it perfectly legal for SSP. I have a friend that shoots one.

And here in lies my biggest complaint with IDPA, the same feature is legal on one gun but illegal on another gun within the same division. Either allow it for all or for none.  Sorry Ken, no...
